The Unit Operation Laboratory is intended to introduce the undergraduate students to the unit operations taking place and to strengthen their commands on the concepts of mass and heat transfer. The lab experiments focus the core areas mass transfer, heat transfer and simultaneous heat transfer, some of the experiments conducted in the laboratory include the continuous rectification tray column, pulse extractor sieve tray column, turbulent heat flow exchanger, liquid coefficient apparatus and thermal conductivity of liquid.
